Our cellulose is derived from cotton and wood pulp, with is then combined with acetic acid to become the bio-material cellulose acetate. Cellulose acetate is biodegradable, hypoallergenic, and adjustable when heat is applied. 

Our exclusive material supplier is Mazzucchelli, a legendary family-owned firm that has been in operation since 1849. They are regarded as Europe’s highest-quality manufacturer of cellulose acetate. Their material is available in a range of incredible colors and patterns, and we are constantly searching their stock for new designs for our small batch collections.

The material is then sent to a workshop where the frames are handcrafted in the shadow of the Dolomites. A family business that has been operating for more than 70 years, their specialized knowledge produces the highest quality frames that you will find anywhere.
